The Federation Starship Christopher Pike[1] was an Enterprise class cruiser in active service in the 23rd century. Under the temporary command of Captain Styles during an attempted invasion of the United Federation of Planets by the Terran Empire in 2222, the Pike led a Star Fleet task force that intercepted the U.S.S. Excelsior NX-2000, under the command of Admiral James T. Kirk, upon its return from the Mirror Universe.[2]
