Revision as of 00:45, 23 August 2019

The Federation Starship Farragut[1] was commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/8806 (June 2245),[2] and was commanded by Captain Garrovick; the Farragut was James T. Kirk's first assignment out of Starfleet Academy.[3] Winston Driveon completed his cadet cruise aboard the Farragut c.Reference Stardate 1/97 (2255).[4] In 2257, 200 members of the Farragut crew, including Captain Garrovick, were killed by the Dikironium cloud creature discovered at planet Tycho IV.[3] The Farragut was destroyed shortly after the encounter with the gaseous life form, when it came under attack by another hostile species that burrowed into the crippled ship.[5]

 1. The registry listed for the Farragut in the "Star Fleet Technical Manual," NCC-1702, conflicts with other sources and must be disregarded.
